Art That Feels Like You

Who am I -

I’m RMRVI, an artist based in Brooklyn, New York and someone who has always dreamed of making art that feels as true as breath. Even as a child, I knew I wanted to create art. It was how I made sense of the world and how I stayed connected to myself. Now, years later, I still create from that same energy, but with a deeper understanding of feeling, presence, and expression.

Each piece begins with a feeling. I slow down, breathe, and listen. I let the emotion rise not to fix it or change it, but to be with it. When I allow myself to fully feel, the color comes. The texture comes. The shape reveals itself.

I create through sensation. Through stillness. Through sound. Sometimes I hum. Sometimes I move or stretch. Sometimes I sit in silence until something stirs inside a color, a memory, a knowing. That’s when I begin to paint. My work is channeled. It’s not just art. It’s a way of sharing who I really am.

A way of saying, this is what I feel, and I trust that someone else might feel it too.

Creating art for a living is a dream I never let go of. And now, being able to share it with others from a place of presence, honesty, and heart feels like the most meaningful thing I’ve ever done.
